Megan & Jerry's Wedding

The first weekend of June we traveled down to Vale, OR for my cousin Megan's wedding. Everyone pitched in with prep and clean up... and in my very humble opinion everything was so beautiful and perfect. All the cousins were dressed in the wedding colors, a blue/teal and brown... very cute.

Here is the beautiful bride dancing with her dad.

The bride and groom taking their first dance. I wish i would have gotten more pictures of Jerry and Megan. Her dress was beautiful. I really liked it.

Out With The Old

We sold a big chunk of our family history last month. These couches are the couches my parents bought the first year they were married. They were originally stripped different shades of brown. My mom reupholstered them quite a few years ago. They gave the couches to Sean and I when we got married, we used them well for two years... and then the day came and we sold them on craigs list.
Over the years these couches have been used and sometimes abused by us kids. Countless forts were made, dog cages (when we let the dog in the house when mom wasn't home), a special bed when we were sick, and so much more. I don't have any pictures of our new couch. It's a dark brown sectional.... but non the less these old couches will be missed!

BOISE is fun

Boise is fun for many reasons. This little girl is one of them
Well, I guess my husband is always fun =)

My parents are fun... and cute little Ian.

And Mattie is so much fun (and all her family of course).

So there you have it. Boise is always fun. We don't get down there enough for sure, but when we do it's always a p-a-r-t-y!

2 Anniversaries

March 8th Sean and I celebrated our second anniversary. This is not a great picture, but it's all we had =)
Our car also celebrated its 1'st Anniversary. That is it's first anniversary with us as its owners.

Spring Break 2010

Here's our motley crew. Sean, Cailin, Dom, and myself went backpacking the last weekend of spring break. The weather was perfect, company great, in my opinion the food was great.
Sean is such a stud he could have carried me on his shoulders the whole way if he wanted to.

"Toasting" bagels over the fire for breakfast. mmmm mmmm good!

We went on a day hike to suicide point... tuna, cheese, crackers... and sardines. Don't worry, I didn't eat any sardines........sick! It was really windy so we tried to get out of the wind to eat with minimal luck.

Us, soaking in the view on Suicide Point.

Heating water for mush... it was really windy so Cailin and Sean were trying to block the wind
so it wouldn't blow the stove out.

Our first night we camped on a sandy beach along the Snake river. It was beautiful and a new experience for me. I'm glad we tied down our tents... the next morning it was windy!

This is my crazy/buff husband Sean. We had set out packs down while looking for a place to camp. After we had decided to camp on the beach Sean decided he would carry all 4 backpacks to our new campsite. .......
